New York Fashion Week. Probably the best week of the year for the fashion world. Here is the Pendulum article I did on the trends from this year’s fashion week!
Fashion Week: What to Expect for Fall
AND to keep with the theme, here is a photo from the W. 18th street Fashion Show in Kansas City last summer!
Here are the links to the last two fashion columns that appeared in Elon University’s The Pendulum.
The first is coverage of the tragic death of Alexander McQueen:

Last week is a review of NY Fashion Week 2010, including Marc Jacobs, Rodarte and Erin Fetherston.

This week’s is fashion tips for men!
This One’s for the Boys
Hope you enjoy!
Marc Jacobs show was list night at 8 EST and I had the privilege of sitting front row. Well, at least at my computer. Jacobs live streamed his Fall/Winter 2010 show on his website last night. While the show was shorter than I expected it was amazing to get to see the way the space was arranged and to see the new designs at the same time as the socialites and fashion people did. I loved some of the dresses that he did. I especially loved this shiny one!
I also loved this yellow dress. It seems like a great transition piece from summer to fall to winter!
While there is a good picture, I loved the shoes in this show! I the metallic gold really popped over the various socks! So cute!!
I also loved this nightgown like dress with the sweater. It’s very low key but still so fabulous!
Anyway, the show was absolutely amazing!! Hopefully one day I will actually get to see in person, but for now I am very excited about designers streaming their shows online! It brings such a life to the clothes!
Watching Rodarte today! 20 minutes!
A little late on the update, but here is the fashion column from this week.
Last Walk in the Park: Fashion Week 2010
This week’s column made me a little sad for the future of Fashion Week, which after this February will no longer be held in the historic Bryant Park.

This is a little late, but my second fashion column was released last Wednesday in Elon University’s The Pendulum. This week article is a review of some highlights from spring fashion week.
